The record

A counter can't
show you this

Every sober day becomes a Proof you can look at. A photo, a video, a voice note, a line of text, stacked on a dated timeline that a bad day cannot erase.

How it works

  1. 01

    Capture the moment

A photo, a video, a voice note or a line of text. Whatever is easiest at the time, because a Proof you did not capture is worth nothing.

  2. 02

    It timestamps itself

Every Proof lands on a dated timeline in the order it happened. You are not writing a diary. You are building a record you did not have to curate.

  3. 03

Look at it on the hard nights

This is the part that does the work. On a night you are arguing with yourself, the timeline is the argument for the other side.

Evidence beats a number, especially at 9pm

A day counter tells you a number. It cannot tell you what the days contained. A Proof can: the morning you woke up clear, the wedding you got through and remember, the drive home you would not have made. When the craving is doing its best work and your reasons have gone quiet, an actual photograph of the person you are becoming is a stronger argument than a figure on a screen.

A slip bends the trend, it does not delete the record

This is the design decision that everything else follows from. A streak resets to zero, which tells you the last ninety days did not happen. They did. In Door 24 your Proofs stay exactly where they are and your Growth Score is a 42 day rolling average, so a hard day moves the line without erasing the months underneath it. You come back to a record, not to a ruin.

Yours by default, shared only if you choose

Proofs are private. So is your Growth Score, and so is the list of what you are working on. Nothing is posted anywhere unless you decide to post it, and the community inside Door 24 is opt in and entirely separate from your timeline. The record is being built for you first. Everything else is optional.

Common questions

What counts as a Proof?
Anything that marks a day you showed up. A photo of where you were instead, a video, a voice note recorded in the car, or a single line of text. There is no standard to meet and nothing to write up. The point is that it exists and it is dated, not that it is impressive.
What happens to my Proofs if I relapse?
They stay. All of them, exactly where they are, with their original dates. Your Growth Score is a 42 day rolling average rather than a streak, so a hard day shifts the trend and nothing gets deleted. That is deliberate. A tool that erases three months of evidence at the moment you most need to see it is working against you.
Are my Proofs private?
Yes, by default. Your Proofs, your Growth Score and the vices you are tracking are all private, and none of it is shared unless you choose to share it. The community inside Door 24 is opt in and separate from your own timeline.
How is this different from just keeping a journal?
A journal is a place to write. A Proof is a place to point. The difference matters on the night you are trying to talk yourself into something, because reading is effortful and looking is not. Proofs are also dated automatically and sit next to your Growth Score and your milestones, so the record assembles itself instead of depending on you keeping it up.
